What identification is required at check-in?

Hotels are legally required to register or report guest details like name, nationality, document number, dates of stay to local authorities.

For your safety and compliance with local regulations, we ask for a government-issued photo ID at check-in. What is accepted depends on your nationality and where you’re traveling from:

• International guests must present a valid passport.
• EU/Schengen guests may use a national ID card (e.g., Maltese ID, German Personalausweis). A driver’s licence may also be accepted in some countries.
• UK/EU guests checking in within the UK or EU can present a passport, national ID card, or EU driver’s licence.
